ADWATCH: Hillary Spot On the Air in Iowa

makes Hillary look human yet assertive. Still, I'm not sure I'm satisfied with this "invisible" theme. I mean, I know it's her poll-tested way of showing indignation and all, but isn't it really more like "willful and deliberate neglect on the part of George Bush and Co."

It's not as though he hasn't caught a glimpse of a mother in a poverty with no healthcare; he has plenty of times, I'm sure. He just doesn't give a damn.

the ad actually improved my opinion of her. It's just her rhetoric, it often comes across as flat/calculated, like the whole "conversation" bit. I think most Americans want more than just a "conversation" about how bad Bush has ruined our country.

She goes on and on about Bush, who last I heard wasn't running in the 2008 election. Not to mention that Bowers is right; it is disempowering.

sure it is. it's an intro ad for the frontrunner and it's running in iowa. is it effective? i think so, given who she is and who the ad is supposed to target.

it's hillary clinton. what exactly were people expecting?

but I do love it when she pisses off the bushies.

It's a wonderful ad.

I think it's influenced by Edwards. The Economist magazine says that Edwards will not likely win the nomination but it changing the ideas that are being talked about:
