Thanks for finding this and posting it!  That was a great day-- am I remembering correctly that Spitzer had just spoken, and, when he finished, all the media and bright lights left the room, about cutting the audience in half?

Ah, but those nameless and faceless reformers stayed to hear a better speech from Paterson.  I think that was me yelling "Yeah!" when he admitted last year's budget process could have been better.  OK, David, here's our chance!

You know, the media follies have already started... just watching WSYR-9 in Syracuse, standing in front of the Capitol and repeatedly referring to Joe Bruno as "the next lieutenant governor" (complete with screen graphic)... and then an interview with Sen. John De Francisco as he praised Paterson to the heavens, referring to him as "the acting governor" (he clearly was talking about Paterson-as-governor for the next three years, not referring to any current limbo status Paterson may have).

Gotta watch 'em.
