SSD-25: Schumer Endorses Squadron

This is bold for Schumer... (0.00 / 0)

I like Squadron. He represents everything good with the Democratic Party. But Schumer is taking a huge gamble here. It seems like everyone is backing Connor. Schumer and Connor have a history, so going against Connor might be more of a personal decision than a professional one for Schumer, although Squadron does have close ties with Schumer.

But what does Schumer really have to lose?  He's untouchable in NY and has a vast operation.

Schumer doesn't have anything to lose. I don't think it will make him weaker, but this endorsement was supposed to raise Squadron's profile and make him formidable. I think it does, to some extent, but with every other Dem (as you mentioned) supporting Connor, it will be tough to overcome that type of support.
