and probably ugly.

Through a strange quirk of circumstance, i wound up managing the ACORN canvass for Kevin Parker's '06 bid for a few weeks. something i more or less regret given the guy's anger management problems and tendency to embarrass himself and not get much of anything done in albany.... but he was a hell of a lot less corrupt and scary than Noach Dear (or "Noah Dear" as his name appeared on literature sent to black households)

i was initially happy to hear that a black candidate was primarying him - but kendall stewart seems to be even more corrupt when you get down to campaign finance issues... and his support for noach dear was inexcusable (that guy should be in jail, not a recently-elected civil court judge).

i think felder's going to get a plurality - noach dear got something like 40% based on the orthodox vote last time, and felder's obviously a much more formidable candidate... he hasn't shown to be as craven as the other two, but probably not as left-leaning either given the conservative nature of his base (and heaven forfend someone with his foreign policy leanings work their way into congress...)
