The New York State Democratic Party is accepting applications for Organizers for the 2008 election cycle. The Party is only one seat away from the State Senate majority and we need your help!
The New York Democratic Party is developing a vigorous grassroots outreach plan to build on the progress we've achieved so far. Duties may include:
• Organizing and implementing house meetings
• Voter registration
• Identifying and engaging supporters in the campaign
• Getting out the vote.
• Volunteer coordination for phone banks and door to door operations
Applicants should have an enthusiastic interest in politics and a commitment to the Democratic Party. Applicant should be dependable, creative, organized and able to work independently. Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, web browsers) is required.
These will be full time political positions that will frequently require working evenings and weekends. Access to a vehicle is required. Training will be provided. Please send your resume to: vondam@nydems.org
