My biggest worry is that voters were already pretty disgruntled about the prospects for significant change in Albany, of any kind.

I suspect that this year has left a lot of voters even more cynical than they were before.  Perhaps Bruno's departure counterbalances Spitzer's collapse a little bit, but it certainly didn't have the same emotional impact.  

"Reformer implodes with hookers" somehow is more memorable than "master of cronyism retires", despite the 30 boxes of subpoenaed material heading to the FBI from Bruno's office.

If the FBI investigation is really digging into the New York Republican Party, though, there may yet be fireworks to come on that score...

Trenches report-petitioning feedback (0.00 / 0)

All those lesbian couples in my neighborhood (it's been a several-year trend, gaining more and more "road share") are really, really motivated to move Winner on out (Go, Tonello!) and get a Democratic Senate.

And a couple of the heterosexual couples also mentioned really liking Paterson.  

Albany dog of my petitioning route: Spitzer. But, they seem to think of it as a personal failing, not a contagion.
