You might remember the details about this race. Grear is challenging Maziarz in a Republican primary but has also received authorization to run on the Democratic line. So even if his primary attempt against Maziarz fails, Grear does have a backup plan. Grear isn't taking this race lightly. He has criticized Maziarz's environmental record and one of his campaign issues is that Maziarz represents special interests instead of the everyday taxpayer.
