NY-10: Towns Crushes Powell

With 592 of 593 precincts reporting.

Towns - 22,561 67%
Powell - 11,027 33%

I was wondering why I got an invite to the Powell party tonight that read in part, "Come celebrate the end of Kevin Powell's congressional campaign."

Guess they kinda knew.

Sorry, Phillip-- I know you wanted somebody more progressive. But, Towns is not only power incarnate, but also a local folk hero amongst some of his constituents. Hard to let go of that. Am inclined to see him try to hand it down to his son, too.

I kinda think this was actually a good showing for Powell under the circumstances.
