1. auto iris is not your friend. also, never shoot someone backlit by a window. get between your subject and the light source. work with the light, not against it.

2. youtube is a 30 second medium for the most part. edit to the relevant parts and get a hook in to your audience in 20 seconds or less. if you get them hooked you've got plenty of time to play.

3. take your camera everywhere. shoot it all. tape is cheap.

TODAY is day one. It always is.
