On Friday, Alice Kryzan was joined by former Rep. John LaFalce to discuss the financial woes we are facing in front of Washington Mutual's call center in Albion, a village in the center of Orleans County. Washington Mutual, as it stands, is the largest employer in Orleans County. It has been reported that if WaMu leaves Orleans County, 900 jobs would be lost.
Rep. LaFalce introduced Kryzan while also talking a little bit about his time and efforts in Congress to address these issues nearly a decade ago. It was very enlightening and provided some insight as to what it was like to work in a Republican-controlled Congress:

Kryzan held this event in coordination with her "7 Counties in 70 Hours" run through the district. Kryzan has made traveling through the district a ritual. On Primary Day, she stopped in all seven counties to thank pollwatchers for their help on the important day.
