Note the Kuhl lawn sign in the right-hand corner. I don't know what part of the district this comes from.  Wonkette (where I found the picture) merely describes it as "Western New York".

Obviously a racist one, but this guy has to rank in the bottom ten percent of racists as far as intelligence goes.

the hung 'coon is really over the top in a huge way.  This kind of thing would be immediately censured by a responsible local Republican Committee.  Can't believe they didn't make him take it down-- reflects really badly on them.

There are confederate flags scattered around Upstate, but wow - this is a seriously far out new level of craziness.

I know the right wing is feeling frustrated at the moment (and it's got to be tough to be a winger in NYS), but, uh, what?

I live upstate, here in WNY, and I can't count the number of Confederate flags you see here. I've seen people use them for curtains. It's true that they don't even have the minor excuse of "southern heritage" to camoflage their racism. They don't care.

In NYS, the flag means nothing but racism.  I don't believe that's true in the south. (There it often means racism but can also mean some kind of misguided Charlie Daniels style "southern pride".)
