With hundreds of thousands of requests for inaugural tickets pouring into legislators' offices just in the first week after the election, "first come first served" has pretty much gone out the window, forcing those who have the tickets to come up with a better way to give them out. |

| Senator Schumer has decided to hold a lottery drawing. Of the 393 tickets his office was given, 350 will be given out via a drawing to be held on December 5th. Entries will be accepted up until midnight on November 30th.
People can enter via Schumer's website at http://www.schumer.senate.gov/. There is a limit of two tickets per winner/household. |
