| According to several reputable news agencies, Sen Charles Schumer, representing our beloved New York State, over the weekend called for $700B in economic stimulus. He had originally called for $500B, but now the number is bigger. That is because you know, the taxpayer works for the government.
Schumer's comments display his cowardice at best. The taxpayers cannot afford this money, we do not have this money.
Where will this money come from?
In order to fix the economy, we must first take the hand off approach. Yes its going to hurt, its going to sting, but that is what its going to take for Americans to realize, they cant continue to run up debt, and not have the funds to pay for it.
More "stimulus" will devalue our currency even more, making it take even longer to pay back the billions of dollar is debt that is created by this "stimulus".
Is it just me, or does it seem that common sense is something Chuck Schumer is devoid of? This is another invisible tax that we cannot afford.
EVERYONE needs to be held accountable, if you dont pay your bills, that is somehow our fault? Bankers make bad investments, this is somehow our fault? |
