Certainly if one asks for X, but gets X minus one then that can be viewed as a cut, but from what I read she increased the monies by $25K, although it was less than what was asked. Every group is feeling some pain in this economy. It is an unfortunate reality.

I have an idea...I think dog owners should be taxed more by paying additional fees to register their animals, admittance of these animals into parks (the damage they cause by digging, chewing, and owners who don't clean up after their animals), and maybe even a levy on dog treats. After all, pet ownership is a luxury as those who are less fortunate probably can't afford them. Those who are more "wealthy" or have more free income can. Those monies generated could be used for other things. Mr. Anderson, certainly you have the means to pay a little more if you can take care of the health and feeding of such a luxury item. Imagine if all the dog owners contributed a little more? How many millions more would the state have? Why hasn't the WFP started to run with this!?!?!
