NY-20: Predictions Thread

Polls close in exactly 4 hours and there's still plenty of work to do. But, here's a place for you to take a minute and make your predictions for tonight.

I've been getting anecdotes from around the district emailed and texted all day. I'll be posting about that shortly. They (perhaps foolishly) lead me to believe that Murphy is going to win this thing by a slightly larger margin than what the CW has suggested. I suck at this, but I'm going to say:

Murphy - 53%
Tedisco - 47%

Who you got?

Oh, and for those in the district, what are you seeing and hearing today?

and with Gillibrand -- 53-47.

In the Siena poll, Murphy has been gaining four points a week for a month, so add the four he had on Thursday to two for the half-week since, and you get six.

The hapless Tedisco has done nothing to slow Murphy's momentum.

My mother-in-law is voting for Murphy (0.00 / 0)

And she's been a long-time Republican. That tells me a lot. She voted for Obama too. It will be a squeaker, but I'm saying Murphy by 4%. Also, people laughed when the Saratogian said that Murphy was to blame for running such negative ads.

I canvassed for Murphy late afternoon... (0.00 / 0)

in Rhinebeck. The biggest thing I came away with is that everyone just wanted to stop receiving mail fliers and phone calls. If we went by who put up the most signs, Tedisco takes it by a landslide. I saw 8 signs in about 8 sq ft. Anyway, I say
Murphy - 51.23
Tedisco - 48.32
