Gunman Dead In Binghamton, Apparently Shot Himself

The shooter was a man of Vietnamese origin, a naturalized US citizen who had been here 28 years. He was apparently recently laid off by IBM. No other known motive at this time.

He took two pistols and a knife, went to the immigration center, and opened up on a citizenship class. Contrary to the original reports, there was no rifle involved. He used his car to block one of the rear exits before going in the front, apparently to prevent people from escaping.
