John Sweeney was arrested for DWI again this morning.

Sweeney faces a felony charge because of November 2007 conviction for misdemeanor DWI.

Sweeney was widely rumored to be working behind-the-scenes on Tedisco's behalf, especially on the RNCC's negative ads, but he was such damaged goods that he did not even publicly endorse Tedisco.

some help now. The court would be wise to look at his long record and order him into treatment. He's been lucky not to hurt anyone, except politics in this country of course, so far. But alcoholism only gets worse unless serious intervention and treatment is applied never better.

Stone loves NY (4.00 / 2)

He was behind Tom Golisano's various Gubernatorial runs.

Stone has two motivations: Money, and fucking over Democrats. This most likely feeds into the latter.

But in this case, while he might be able to cause a war in the court of public opinion, but he's not going to be able to fuck with our actual numbers. The NYS election system is too strong.

And a lot of Republicans in the Capitol region and south to Westchester still hate him for opposing Pataki in 2002.
