RIP Michael Jackson

excellent video choice (0.00 / 0)

I mostly remember playing Yar's Revenge endlessly one summer on a friend's Atari with Thriller playing in background.  We all agreed that "Billie Jean" playing somehow produced the highest scores.  Middle school wasn't exactly my social high point.

I pretty much tuned out after that, until today!

chosen to remember him. this was the MJ i was first exposed to as a kid.

and yeah, i was in middle school during the Thriller mania as well. had it on cassette. everyone did.

My favorite MJ memory... (0.00 / 0)

Was the halftime show at Super Bowl XXVII. I was only six years old at the time and that was one of my first memories of Michael Jackson. I wasn't alive for Thriller or the other classics, but saw the videos later and realized what a talent he was.

In later years, while he was a tabloid sensation, I burned some CDs that had some of his classics on there. That way, I had a reminder of who Michael Jackson really was.
