| At their regular meeting last night, Delaware County, one of the so-called "hold outs," voted unanimously to endorse Kirsten Gillibrand for the U.S. Senate. Mention was made of her progressive record, her knowledge of upstate NY and her new appointment to the Agriculture Committee. Comment was also made about the Maloney challange, particularly her false claim of being the "true" progressive in the race, which is starkly belied by her support of the Iraq War and the so-called Patriot Act. |
