In the latest of his ongoing series, "Run County Government like a Business", County Executive Chris Collins declares the US Justice Department suit over conditions at the Holding Center frivolous and blames it on liberal Civil Rights people.
According to Collins, the Justice Department wants Erie County to provide hotel room like conditions for prisoners.
Polencarz - " the actions of the county executive and sheriff will likely lead to significant additional costs, all of which will be paid by Erie County taxpayers."
Well, it might not be the kind of business voters thought they were going to get, but its Business as Usual in Collins' County Hall.

This also seems to mesh well with teabaggerism, and "scumbaggeryism". What a rotten peach of an excuse for a human being he is, and that we in Erie County are plagued with. Although, maybe this is devine retribution for some of the nastier things that have been done in this region, like placing UB's primary facility out in the Amherst swampland in the 1970's. All those furry woodland creatures and associated insects made homeless...and all those homeless humans in the formerly inhabited parts of Buffalo, when these people would have had a job....
