End the campaign today.

Huddle with anybody who will still be willing to be seen with you on the weekend.

On Monday, call a last-minute press conference timed perfectly to upstage Roger Stone's farce event announcing that "Kristin" of #9 Spitzer-in-socks fame is running for governor on the libertarian line..  On a "legalize and tax prostitution and marijuana to solve the state's budget woes" platform.

You can't make this stuff up (but Roger can, apparently).

And is now a lame duck. I do hope that Cuomo appoints a special prosecutor to take control of the investigation so he would be clear of any involvement and can annouce that he is a candidate for Governor.

By the way, heard that Steve Levy is now interested in running.  Give me a break.

for Patterson to do is resign.  Let him finish out the term.  Nobody was listening to the guy anyway last year ... the State Legislature is going to do whatever they want, regardless of what Patterson calls for, just like they did this past session.  On top of that, who becomes Governor if he does resign?  Ravitch?

I really don't buy Brodsky's view that "if you're qualified to run, you're qualified to serve.  If you're not qualified to run, you're not qualified to serve."  By that logic, Presidents Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush weren't qualified to serve their second terms b/c they weren't qualified to run for President a 3rd time.
