And you thought the "Yes We Can" crap was bad. Now convicted d-bag and Ex-senator Hiram Monserrate has decided to just brazenly steal President Obama's campaign logo. It's also the logo for Organizing for America. One would think that violent domestic abuse and denying civil rights wasn't exactly what Barack Obama had in mind. That's apparently not so if you look at Hiram the Slasher's campaign website:

Seriously, look at this:

That's just awful. Trying to trick people into thinking you are somehow connected to President Obama as you run for the office you just got kicked out of for being a violent asshole. Not to mention the legal dimensions. This has to be illegal, right?

Dear Mr President and all you lawyers at DFA and the DNC, please sue the crap out of this louse, will ya?

Dear everyone else, please help to retire this scumbag from public life permanently. Volunteer, donate and join me in Jackson Heights this weekend to elect Jose Peralta to the 13th Senate district seat.

Let's send this guy packing for good.

Update! OFA says "no you can't!"

"This use of the logo is neither approved nor supported by Organizing for America. The campaign did not seek nor do they have permission to use the it. We are asking them to remove it from their materials."

The New York Daily News Elizabeth Benjamin is reporting:

A reader forwarded this flyer, which supporters of Hiram Monserrate have been handing out in churches in the 13th Senatorial District in Queens.

The flyer calls Jose Peralta "a leading spokesperson for the gay community in NYC." Um, OK, as a LGBT activist, I appreciate his vote, but he's hardly been a household name at our rallies, or in our press. Supporter? Absolutely. "leading spokesperson?" Not so much.

It goes on to say:

He has the support of the billionaire Gill Foundation and a group of mega rich gay fanatics dedicated to destroying our way of life and creating same sex marriage.

"Mega rich gay fanatics?" Oh my, that's sounds very frightening. Better keep the woman abuser for Jesus.

We can't let Monserrate win. There is a canvassing event tomorrow, not listed on Act-Now's site, but affiliated with their efforts. More info can be found here on Facebook. I'll be there, how about you?

considering Monserrate's support is coming from some local Church ministries and older ladies who must feel Giraldo "asked for it". Apparently, "Hate Thy Neighbor" is a new commandment.

I was reading some local Spanish language paper at the barber shop tonight and found an incredibly horrible article comparing Monserrate to Samson from the biblical story.
