We're Watching You, Mike McMahon

Is my Congressman and I (along with others) have called and emailed him everyday about this vote.  He thinks that if he votes no he's going to beat the Republican candidate but what he doesn't seem to realize is that he won by luck in 2008.  Vito's "problems", the SI Republican Party not fielding a decent candidate (a lot of Staten Islanders are registered Dem but vote Republican and let's face it the majority of CD-13 is Staten Island), and he was able to raise a lot of money for the race.  McMahon would have never run (he had been asked to do this several times) except for what happened to Fossella. Actually, he was supporting his friend and fellow City Councilman Dominic Recchia (who does and didn't even live in the district) even though in August 2007 Steve Harrison (who does live on the Brooklyn side of the district) had announced he would run again (he ran in 2006 against Fossella). Harrison did primary McMahon (and McMahon felt he should have done this) but lost 75% to 25%.
Anyway, McMahon won't have my vote (along with many others I know in CD-13), he won't have union support and he won't have the WFP line if he doesn't vote YES.  I don't give a darn if the bill passes without his vote or not, just by voting No he's guaranteed not to get these votes.  McMahon was supported in 2008 by Vinny Gentile, Peter Abbate and Diane Savino (among others) and I hope the unions and WFP put the screws on them that if they support McMahon this year they will lose support from them.
