I think it's fair to say that the Senate Democrats have been a huge disappointment since they took power in 2008, largely because their tiny majority has left them under the thumbs of the worst members of their conference- namely Pedro Espada, the Slasher, Ruben DIaz, and Carl Kruger. However, they are still far superior to any way the Republicans would have ran the conference, and had for the 40 years prior. This video clearly makes that point.
