A few days ago, Randy Jones Ruben DIaz Sr. came to Staten Island to denounce racial violence but told gay leaders they weren't welcome to join him. Senator Savino and Assemblyman Titone had a good response:
Diaz's bigotry apparently expands beyond the marriage issue- he doesn't even want to interact with gay people when they agree on an issue. And it seems this is not going over well with Diaz's colleagues in the legislature. Hopefully some of them will come out for Diaz's challenger, Charlie Ramos.
