NY-24: Another Reason To Ignore Those Arcuri Fundraising Emails

by: phillip anderson

Arcuri pulls a Harry Reid.

Hey, how'd that "voted for Health Care before I voted against it" thing work out for ya?

See ya, Mike.

Sheesh, Arcuri (4.00 / 2)
Why does somebody from our district even need to talk about this?  You remember, nobody has built anything, mosque, church or even gas station, in Utica lately.

I am disappointed, and not looking forward to the possibility of having a Republican in that seat.

actually, there is a mosque in Utica, circa 1994 (0.00 / 0)
Lots of Bosnian refugees settled there.

http://bosnian-ia.com/
http://www.uticamasjid.org/

"The Utica mosque of MCAMV is one of the most ethnically varied in the nation with majority of the Muslims from Bosnia and others from Afghanistan, Albania, Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kashmir, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Somalia, Sudan, former Soviet Union and USA."

Not really sure what their politics are or how this affects it.  Probably not happily.

1994? (0.00 / 0)
Utica is very friendly to immigrants, it is true.  But, that is because so many people are leaving, they really need in-migrants.  1994 doesn't make it for me for actual "building" going on, say, Arcuri's term of office.

Actually, 2010 too (0.00 / 0)
I hadn't realized this until just now -

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08...

"Somehow, though, people here have not been given the current script. Instead, while mosques and Islamic community centers have been contested  from near ground zero and Staten Island to Murfreesboro, Tenn., Temecula, Calif., and Sheboygan, Wis., Utica is a place where the dog hasn't barked.

Instead, the mosque has been welcomed by, among others, former church members grateful that the old building will be saved. Some 200 people showed up this month for a tour by the Landmarks Society of Greater Utica."

Does mention Arcuri/Hanna at the end.

With Democrats like these (4.00 / 1)
who needs Republicans?

It must be said... (4.00 / 1)
Mr. Arcuri...and Mr. Hanna...get the hell out of the United States. NOW. Both of you don't understand the Constitution or the "freedom of religion" part.

Even more, you're taking time away from important issues. Neither of you seem to understand you're being played by the usual suspects.
