NY GOP Gov Results Thread

Just back from my polling place (0.00 / 0)

 I have a print out from the new machine of the very interesting results. In general elections Stephentown has been very indicative of final results in recent years. I have not tracked whether that is true in primaries because of course they are usually non-competitive.

This is an incredibly high turn-out for a primary here in Stephentown. I imagine it is mostly due to wanting to use the new machines.

Look at the complete blow-out by Paladino over Lazio. Given that, I won't be at all surprised to learn later that the 2 conservative write-in's are for Paladino.

There's no motivation to turnout for Lazio. There's a lot for Paladino.

looks like there's a chance that Lazio's running mate for LG (Edwards) could win, while Paladino's running mate might lose!  Liz B. had a post on that earlier today.  Talk about Republican looniness...

That "Status-Cuomo" line is excellent.  It's the scariest part.

He's nuts, yes.  But lots of people are going to shovel this shit down their throat and love every second of it.

We've got five minutes to dust off after tonight.  You will see a Pataki style win against the biggest name in New York State politics if this lunatic's momentum continues.

It looks like Lazio will win the Conservative nomination. Anyone know to what extent he plans to campaign against Paladino?
