SD-40: Greg Ball Really is Crazy

by: Roatti

Sat Oct 16, 2010 at 16:53:49 PM EDT

So Greg Ball's latest brilliant campaign idea was- I kid you not- to have a "dog" rally to protest Mike Kaplowitz having nothing to do with a bill Ball introduced in the Assembly.  But the problem is that the bill referenced has nothing to do with dogs, and is actually outlawing exotic game meat like gorillas and elephants, with which the Hudson Valley is clearly overflowing.  Also note that Kaplowitz neither voted on this bill nor publicly opposed it.  But not that reality ever maters to someone like Ball.  And this is apparently what Greg Ball thinks is a pressing issue in the district.  However, like the rest of Ball's campaign stunts, no rally was to be had, as this video shows:

So the voters in SD-40 have a choice between a guy who believes the biggest issue in his district is nonexistent opposition to a ban on game meat or a guy who cares about property taxes and cleaning up Albany.  I wonder which is the better choice.

On the web:

Mike Kaplowitz for State Senate

Better to ask (4.00 / 1)
I wonder which message will resonate with the voters

Ball Machine (0.00 / 0)
Unfortunately Ball is building a mini-machine in Putnam

Will that mini machine overcome (0.00 / 0)
the Kaplowitz efforts?

Why Why Why (4.00 / 1)
Why would a politician do this to himself????  How incredibly stupid do you have to be to give the other side such a public relations gift???  Do you need any political instincts to run for office anymore???  And how the fuck did this Ball-sack get into the Assembly in the first place???  Is anybody voting with their brain in that district???  Eeegad!!

Big props to the videographers who scooped this out for us and did the completely fucked press's job for them.  My guess it that they are all unpaid amatuers whose resume's are also being ignored by the local media, which is currently trying to increase ad revenue by cutting the hard news budget.  Guess the fourth estate is seeing a high foreclosure rate too...motherfuckers.

I gotta stop coming onto this website on Sunday mornings while only halfway through my coffee.

Roatti....how do you always find the stories that piss me off most :-)

lol sorry (0.00 / 0)
but you must focus that anger for another 2 weeks on the right target
