It's amazing.

I am old to remember watching my friends get sick and die.

I am old enough to remember the Federal government, state government, the media and way to many of our supposed friends just turn a blind eye and pretend to see nothing, and pretend they could do nothing.

And therein developed a cynicism in my soul at a young age.

But this battle was so different. This time it was obvious the LGBT community was not shouldering the burden alone. And that warmed my faith in humanity and my belief that progress and change can really happen. Thanks TAP. :-)

Sources tell me that Saland has purchased a house in FL. Normally, when a New Yorker buys real estate in the sunshine state they are looking to enjoy the sunshine during the winter. When is the senate in session? Winter.

Just sayin'.
