| Those of us who were paying a certain kind of close attention last year noticed that then-Assemblyman Greg Ball actually cosponsored the big moratorium on hydrofracking, the one that would have lasted until four months after the EPA released its report.
Liz Benjamin follows up with now-Senator Ball as he continues to investigate, and show, just how badly things are going for Pennsylvania landowners due to fracking there.
We've taken plenty of shots at Sen. Ball; on this issue I believe that he deserves an equal portion of praise.
A word about Senator Nozzolio too -- he was recently quoted as saying that if Governor Cuomo is going to protect the NYC and Syracuse watersheds then he needs to protect the entire finger lakes watershed as well. How many more Republicans will it take before Governor Cuomo sees the obvious, that high-volume hydrofracking isn't good for New York? |
