| Rep. Randy Kuhl might not have a choice when it comes to running again in New York's 29th congressional district. That's because the NRCC might be talking him out of it.
Sources tell me the rumors going around say that the NRCC is trying to convince Kuhl not to run. The NRCC thinks that Kuhl will lose in November and would prefer to run someone else.
That someone else just might be Maggie Brooks. Maggie recently moved into the 29th congressional district and would be a favorite of the NRCC's to run for that seat. Whether she will or not remains to be seen.
Nevertheless, this news would bode well for Eric Massa. His top competitor (if you can call Kuhl that) might leave the race and then someone else, whether it will be Maggie Brooks or not, will join the race having to get acquainted with the district. Won't be as bad for a Republican, but still necessary. |
