This certainly speaks to Paterson's character. I would have to say that he is seen in a different light than was Eliot Spitzer. Spitzer was seen as divisive, while Paterson is viewed as quite the opposite. It is heartening to see that New Yorkers share that view and believe that Paterson can do the job well.
